The White Hots In The Beginning

Guitarist Aleks Disljenkovic, bass player Ted Mosher and harmonica player Tom Hanney are some of western New York’s most respected blues musicians. In the spring of 2001, the trio decided to form a different kind of band, an instrumental group that would explore the subtleties of the blues. So they put together a couple of sets of music and headed to their first job.

But a funny thing happened at the gig. Steve Greene, the fine jazz guitarist, was there, liked what he heard and asked to join the group. Aleks, Ted and Tom jumped at the chance and the White Hots were off and running.
